Anyone else think the show seems to be missing something tonight? After hyping up the girls as "possibly the best group ever" at the beginning of the show, they sure seem rather flat.
Also, I am so done with Kara. She thinks she has way more to contribute than she really does. Sit there and let Simon do his thing and shut up please! |

I agree 110%. ;) But seriously though, maybe I was expecting a bit more but the girls really didn't "bring it". There were a few good moments (very few) but nothing really "special". Let's see what the guys do tomorrow. |

Totally agree! I was not wowed once last night. I was expecting more with all the talk about the girls being the ones to watch this season, but they were disappointing. I don't even feel like it's worth a review at this point. I'm hoping the guys will have more energy and star quality because the girls don't have it.
There are some promising singers/performers, but no one who is obviously unique, interesting and captivating. The "corporate singer" is the most polished but so just that. She's a corporate singer - nothing special there. I like the girl who butchered "What About Love" but it was the wrong song. She's cute and interesting and very likable. She doesn't deserve to make it through, but she will and I hope she picks more suitable songs. The one who sang "Terrified" during Hollywood week was so disappointing last night in her bad 60's braided rug vest. Everyone is trying too hard to sound like all the overdone "jazz" type voices out there now (Adelle, Duffy, Amy Winehouse etc.). No one, other than the hippie Boxersox or whatever her name is, is being themselves. She's good, but like Simon said, she's a typical busker with nothing that lights up the stage. Ugh, I'm just so bored with everyone! I feel like the judges are burnt out. I'm burnt out. Kara needs to stop bobbing her head around while she talks because I want to knock it off her shoulders. |

@msmariekg I think everyone who's played here before looks forward to your reviews but I agree... there wasn't much to write up after last night's show. (yawn) The guy's will probably shine and put some pressure on the girls. |

Simon and Randy definitely seem burned out. I really think this is the last year the show will be worth watching. At least Paula was a train wreck and interesting to watch, Kara is just an attention craving loud mouth. I do think the guys will bring it tonight. They had about 11 perfect examples of what NOT to do. i liked the poofy blonde haired girl from Iowa. She at least had some stage presence and a personality. Hopefully the rest of them kind of find their comfort zone in the next week or so. |

Anyone know how the elimination points will work for the contest tonight? The screen shows just my bottom person eliminated, but obviously we are losing 4. Do we get "bottom 3" points for anyone in the bottom 6 and elimination points for the bottom 4 or ?? |
